Identity and Access Management (IDAM)

Overview

Edison IDAM provides identification and access management as a Service (IDAMaaS) for authenticated users (people, devices, or applications) and all applications deployed on Edison Platform in order to control access to the platform resources. One of the main goals for this project was to address usability issues with previous user and organization management system.

I worked closely with the product manager on defining the initial requirements and used this opportunity to mentor a junior designer on creating user profiles, use scenarios, and initial wireframes.

After the project was moved to Budapest, I then worked with their engineering team to understand the underlying system architecture. I created high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes, defined research scenarios for usability testing, and helped researcher recruit participants and run the study.

New IDAM prototype had high overall satisfaction ratings with SUS rated at 82 and CSAT at 4.3.
